• Sliding hatch renovation

    It was time for some sliding hatch renovation. Our sliding hatch was broken in some places and was also leaking a lot through the window. We do not want any leakages at all and there have been a lot of water coming in to the boat through this hatch and it is something we really want to fix before the summer season. After adding the linseed-oil we left the hatch alone for fourteen days. We did this so that the oil will harden completely.   • Fixing our leaking cowl vent

    During the winter we realized that we had some leaking cowl vents. At least one of the cowl vents were leaking and rain water and melted snow gathered inside the plastic. When the temperature dropped below freezing a crack appeared. Since it was winter when this happened all we could do at the time was to cover it as good as possible and wait for spring. Now it is spring and it was time to fix this! In total we have three vents on deck, and we knew that one of them was leaking.
