Equipment
On this page we will list all equipment we have on our sailboat Anne-Mon for our year of sailing to the Caribbean and back again. We have tried to buy a lot of stuff second-hand to save money. We have found that a lot of things are sold that works perfectly fine.
We are no experts in this field (only done one sailing trip), this is mainly a list of what we have bought (based on our research and our boat) to prepare for our adventure, we recommend reading different peoples opinions and experiences about what equipment you should have. All boats and crews are different and in the end, you are the one that know what’ll be best for your sailboat and crew. 🙂
We managed perfectly fine with the equipment we had here during our year sailing to the Caribbean and back again. But, if would have done a sailing trip again we would have bought a wind generator. It is always windy in the Caribbean and it would be a nice with some extra electricity.
